Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts

WAYNE MARDLE has been cleared to return to the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts this week.
Mardle has been forced to miss the last two weeks of the tournament through illness, having spent time in hospital last week.
However, he has been cleared to return for the visit to the AECC in Aberdeen on Thursday and will complete his remaining Premier League Darts fixtures.
Mardle will take on James Wade in Scotland, before playing twice on the final two league nights in his bid to claim a last-ditch spot in the play-offs.
His return means that the fixtures for Aberdeen will remain unchanged from those originally scheduled, with Terry Jenkins meeting Mervyn King, Jelle Klaasen facing Raymond van Barneveld and defending champion Phil Taylor taking on John Part.
Mardle will take on both Taylor and van Barneveld at the Sheffield Arena next week, with Jenkins facing Part and Wade taking on Klaasen.
He then faces Jelle Klaasen and John Part in the final league night, at the CIA in Cardiff on May 7, with van Barneveld taking on Jenkins and Taylor facing King.
The revised fixtures mean King will receive a week^s break from the Sheffield leg, and Wade will not play in Cardiff.
Mardle currently sits bottom of the table on four points from nine games - which is seven points away from the play-off places but with two games in hand on the players above him.
