The Headley Court Challenge sponsored by 180 poker
Heroic British Armed Forces personnel recovering at a rehabilitation centre in Surrey are to meet stars from the world of darts in a special challenge match on the 2nd December 2010.
The ^Headley Court Challenge^ - sponsored by 180 poker will see leading darts players including 180 bets sponsoresd star James Wade, Colin Lloyd and Mark Dudbridge attend the Headley Court rehabilitation centre for an evening of darts, poker and live music with armed services personnel.
Whilst the event is not open to members of the public, the evening is intended to act as a morale booster to personnel who are recovering from a variety of injuries - many of which were sustained on active service.
The evening has been kindly sponsored by 180 poker with additional prizes provided by the Unicorn and Target darts companies respectively.
Mr Jim McDonnell the Chairman of the 180 poker company is delighted to be sponsoring the evening saying :
^I am very proud to be helping our armed forces in my own small way, it is very humbling when you meet these true heroes. I am also very proud to help highlight the work done at Headley Court, it is a fantastic facility that is much needed by our armed forces personnel as they recover from their injuries.
