Red Arrows, champions of the Forest of Arden Winter League, finished the season on a high winning 5-4 at the Heart of England, despite a 180 for the hosts by Mark Clayton. Arrows were six points ahead of their nearest rivals and last seasons champions Hobs Meadow, who ended their campaign with a defeat. With only six players Hobs went down 5-4 at Hunters Moon, but nevertheless it was enough to give them the runners up spot. Hobs Mick Gorste was another player to hit a maximum in the final game of the season, he also recorded a nine darts leg.

The league averages were shared as C.Hall (Red Arrows) and A.Grainger (Hunters Moon) both won 18 of their 22 games. The secretaries winner was B.Anderton (Hobs Meadow) who won 17 of the fixtures. Hobs Meadow Mixes won the shadow league.
