Biggest names in darts to contest island tournament

Some of the biggest names in darts will descend on the island next month to contest the 25th Isle of Man International Darts Festival.

Last year, Stockport^s Daryl Fitton threw exceptionally to beat then-BDO world champion Ted Hankey 3-1 in the final.

Joining Fitton on the podium was Welsh international Julie Gore, who won her third consecutive ladies title.

The tournament will run from 12-14 March at the Villa Marina in Douglas.

Amongst those hoping to take home the title will be current BDO champion Martin Adams and the Lakeside runner-up and 2008 Manx champion Dave Chisnall.
