Article: Champion of Champions Record Ticket Sales

Champion of Champions Record Ticket Sales

The Grand Finals of the Champion of Champions 2019, at the St. David’s Hall Cardiff on 24th August has surpassed all previous ticket sales as the people’s darts event over the last 6 years. The Champion of Champions allows any dart player, regardless of age or gender to claim one of World dart’s biggest open prize events, with this year’s event setting another record benchmark with a £31,500 prize fund. The 256 finalists get to play in a high level prestigious environment, whilst maintaining the grass roots ethos and it is this formula that has seen a record take up of extra ticket sales. Simon Hall, Red Dragon’s Head of Marketing, said “We’re all absolutely overwhelmed by the support of the darting community in buying tickets to support this non-televised event, and year-on-year it continues to grow.” “Naturally we are indebted to our amazing sponsors Worthington’s and this year we’ll see even more engagement at the event with the likes of Colin Lloyd and Bobby George on hand for this headline event.” Champion of Champions finals day tickets can still be purchased by clicking here.
