Council – Another wonderful darting occasion in Bridlington

And as well as the BDO happy with the weekend^s events, the East Riding of Yorkshire Council (ERYC) were just as happy, especially after agreeing a further contract for the competition.

A spokesperson for ERYC told the Free Press: "East Riding of Yorkshire Council, as major sponsors of the World Masters, along with Winmau, were delighted with the fantastic climax to another wonderful darting occasion in Bridlington over the weekend.

"The comments we received regarding the Spa as a venue and the town in general from BBC television, members of the public and the darting organisations from around the world were amazing.

"We were also extremely happy that so many people turned out to support the event and experienced such an exciting finale to what was a hugely successful four days of top-class darts.

"East Riding of Yorkshire Council are also very pleased to announce that we have secured a contract for the competition to be held at the Spa, Bridlington for a further three years."
