In the championship division Martin Cox moves up from third in the table to pole position following his 2-1 win over former leader Ken Salsbury and a straight 2-0 success against Jake Humphries, however Cox only leads on average as Salsbury, Pete Jones and Matt Murrin are all on the same 10 points, Murrin having a game in hand on the three top players.
Steve McCarthy lost 2-0 to Dave Brown and 2-1 to Ian Genge in division one and drops from the number one spot to second being replaced at the top by Nigel Ricketts who had 2-1 wins over both Pete Ayling and Dave Brown to put him on 12 points the same number as McCarthy.
The overall table sees Dave Howlett leading the field with 14 points just two ahead of both Nigel Ricketts and Steve McCarthy.

It was Divisional Cup week in the Forest of Arden Summer League and in division one it was top versus bottom as divisional leaders Journeys End took on bottom of the table Chelmsley Town and won 7-0. In the other division one game second placed Highwood KB beat next to bottom Crown Arrows 5-2.
Just one result from division two which saw leaders Journeys End Flights have a comfortable 6-1 win over Crown Arrows Flights.

There was a setback for leader of the Winmau Centre Thursday Night Champions League Kevin Harrisin week five as he slipped to a 4-3 defeat against middle of the table Jay Hough. Reigning champion Mick Baker followed up a 6-1 win over Davinder Singh with a 4-3 win against Rob Harris to give him 60 points from eleven games leaving him nine points behind Harris with two games in hand. Baker has won all of his eleven games so far and the only other undefeated player in the 24 man league is Louis Burley who has moved up into third place with 58 points from tem games his latest wins being 7-0 against Paul Walters and 4-3 over Paul Boddison.

Court Oak continued their winning ways in division one of the Kings Norton League their latest victory being 4-3 over The Coppice who drop from third to fifth in the table, West Heath are second with eight points two fewer than Court Oak after their 5-2 home win over Reds. Taking over the number three spot is Hillyfields their 4-3 win over Stirchley United leaving them four points off the top.
Grant Arms moved up one place to take over at the top of division two after a 5-2 win at Coldstream, former leaders Rubery RBL are second on six points just two behind Grant with a game in hand.

A 39-9 win over Full Montie has seen 3 Yam Yams and A.Stokie open up a fourteen points lead at the top of the Winmau Centre Monday Night League and helping them on their way was Owen Maiden with a 180 and Mark Daniel with a superb 154 game shot. With leaders of the Camp Hill League Cotterills Lane Club having their game with Grange Social Club cancelled second in the table Holy Gulp took advantage to reduce the arrears to just two points with a 5-2 win over Station Flights, however Gulp have now played two games more than Cotterills.
At the other end of the table there was a rare win for bottom placed New Inns who beat the team two places above them Devil’s Club 4-3.

Langley Hall Sports and Social Club staged their Classic 2016 Open and following his Riley’s Last Sunday in the Month victory was Mike McFall who throughout the day dropped just two legs one in the earlier rounds to Jamie Robinson and the other in the semi finals to Paul Nixon before going on to take the top prize of £400..
The final was a really entertaining high scoring affair with McFall hitting 11x100,3x180 a 135 finish plus he recorded two twelve darts legs, while his opponent Kevin Bambrick had top shots of 5x100 and 180, McFall coming out the convincing 6-0 winner.
Bambrick as runner up received £150 and there was £50 for each of the losing semi finalists Paul Nixon and Aaron Carter.
The Consolation Competition was won by Andy Hutchings who had a straight 3-0 win over Stuart Page in the final after beating Dane Wells by same the scoreline in the semi’s, Page was also a 3-0 winner in the last four against Mikey Harris. Hutchings received £70 and Page £30.

The new leaders are Ashwood whose 7-2 win at The Fox (Lye) puts them on 48 points and they lead both Britannia, who had an 8-1 win at The Swan, and Ten Arches ‘A’ on average as all three have 48 points.

With The Nutan having won the Bilston and District League some weeks ago the battle was on for the runners up spot and taking that number two place was Tilted Barrel who won their final game of the season 4-3 away to Darlaston Conservative Club, third placed Lanesfield RBL were 6-1 winners against White Hart ‘B’ to finish on the same 60 points as Tilted Barrel but were well behind on average.
In addition to the runners up placing Tilted Barrel, the reigning 501 league champions retained their title winning the league again with a total of 64 points two more than the runners up The Nutan who narrowly missed out on the league double.
The shadow league title went to 44 Club with 22 points, Rocket Pool were runners up with 20.

The Royal, Albrighton staged the fourth of their popular knockouts and taking the winners prize of £160 was Matt Padgett from Ilkeston, Derbyshire who defeated Telford’s Andy Roberts 6-0 in the final, Roberts collecting £70 as runner up.

After Ashmore Inn lost 4-3 at home to Gilberts Bar in division one of the Wolverhampton Tuesday Night League leaders Riley’s ‘C’ who had a bye this week are now six points to the good on second placed Ashmore who have played eight compared to Riley’s nine games.
There was a shock for division two leaders Dog and Partridge as they lost 4-3 at home to Ukrainian Club who are in the bottom half of the table. Second placed Pavilion drew level on 16 points with the top team after their 5-2 win at Lanesfield RBL.
