Darts News – Alan Towe’s The Line On Darts: Graham Hall

A total of 68 players took part in the new Bedworth Open Knockout staged at the Bedworth United Football Club and winning the inaugural title was Warwickshire county player Graham Hall. Hall had a final success over fellow county player Mark Carter.

Hall had previously beaten Kev Taylor in the semi finals, while Carter accounted for Ian Shaw. Graham continued his rich vein of form when he won the Warwickshire county world play off against Dean Stewart 3-1 to claim his place in the Lakeside International play off’s to be held later this year.

Hall beat Anthony Childs in the last four, while Stewart overcame the challenge of Dave Sanders. This was the second time in only a couple of weeks that Hall had played against Stewart in a final, the previous one being the Gold Cup singles in which Stewart won.
