This coming weekend Derbyshire will be playing their final game of the season in division two of the BDO Inter County Championships and what could well be the final game in division two as they go into the last game of the season top of the table with 184 points ten more than second placed London and thirteen ahead of third in the table Berkshire.
Derbyshire’s will play their last game away to Northamptonshire who are sixth in a table of ten teams and on 156 points so it could be assumed that the away team who have won six of their eight games will finish the season on a high and at the same time win the divisional title and promotion to division one, something they narrowly missed out on last season when they finished third behind champions Somerset and just four points short of runners up Cleveland.
