Darts News – Alan Towe’s The Line On Darts – Shropshire v Bedfordshire
This coming weekend in division three of the Riley’s BDO Inter County Championships Shropshire play a crucial home game against Bedfordshire. This will probably be the most important fixture of the season as Shropshire are currently next to bottom of the table with 71 points and their visitors are bottom with 64 points. The outcome of the match could decide either or both of the two team’s destinies for next season. A win for Shropshire could well keep them in touch with teams above them as Buckinghamshire have 84 points and Cumbria 91.
Buckinghamshire and Cumbria both have go for wins to avoid dropping into the relegation themselves, but they in turn are playing teams just above them, eighth in the table Buckinghamshire play away to sixth placed Hertfordshire, while Cumbria, in seventh place, play hosts to Merseyside, who are fifth.
With only three fixtures remaining after the weekend the results for all six teams could be critical.
