Darts News – Alan Towe’s The Line On Darts – Shropshire v Gloucestershire

The first weekend in February will see Shropshire play hosts to Gloucestershire in this their latest division four fixture in the BDO Inter County Championships.

The hosts on the back of two consecutive victories will be hoping to make it a hat trick of wins, but even with home advantage the task will not be an easy one as their opponents are currently in second place in the promotional table with 110 points, four places above Shropshire and some eleven points ahead of them. However after a somewhat shaky start to the season with two defeats in the opening three games the squad now appear to have settled down and who knows a win in this tie could see them move to within striking distance of the top two teams and in with a chance of promotion back to division three.
