Darts News – Alan Towe’s The Line On Darts – Tyne and Wear v Shropshire
On the weekend of the 28th and 29th of March Shropshire will continue their programme in division four of the BDO Inter County Championships with a tough away game against Tyne and Wear. With only two defeats in the previous five games Shropshire have amassed a total of 114 points and are now in a comfortable mid table position 22 points above next to bottom Isle of Wight and 25 above bottom of the table Pembrokeshire.
A win would be a terrific morale booster for the away side as their hosts are currently second in the divisional promotion table with 135 points, but they cannot afford to lose as third placed Gloucestershire are only point behind them and fourth in the table Middlesex are just six points adrift.
At this point in time Shropshire have only named ten layers for the men’s ‘A’ game and lining up will be, Men’s ‘A’:- John Cooper.
