Two fixtures remaining in the Riley’s BDO Inter County Championships season and this weekend will see Warwickshire play hosts to Essex in what is the penultimate game.
With only two defeats from seven games Warwickshire have enjoyed a very successful campaign so far and hope to consolidate their third place in the table with a further win over their visitors.
This will be Warwickshire’s final home game of the season and they will be hoping to bring the curtain down at their home venue Bishopsgate Club, Coventry with a win as the two defeats they have suffered this season have both been at home, a win would at least mean they had won biggest half of their home games, three wins to two defeats. Their away form has been outstanding having won all three so far, the final match of the season will be away to Kent, another game which is certainly winnable.
