Darts News – Alan Towe’s The Line On Darts – West Midlands v Northamptonshire

With only three fixtures remaining in the Riley’s BDO Inter County Championships teams are now at the business end of the season where results are paramount if they should have any chance of promotion or indeed any hopes of survival in their relative divisions. In division two West Midlands could be involved in either as they are currently in a mid table position 27 points away from relegation and 16 off the promotional places.

This weekend they will entertain Northamptonshire at Gilberts Bar, Field Street, Willenhall. Northamptonshire, are two places and only three points behind their hosts, but it is a game that West Midlands must win to keep any hopes of promotion alive.

Going into the fixture Cleveland lead the table on 145 points with Derbyshire second on 135, West Midlands have 119 points and are placed fifth out of the nine teams.
