Dawson^s Double Delight
Dawson recorded 3 x 17 dart legs plus adding a bull-25 and bull finish for 15 and 130 finish for 15 darts in his emphatic 5-1 final victory over York^s John Quantock (16). Quantock (2 x 180^s in 15-20-20-17) showed his quality in beating Aarron Holdstock (Humberside) 4-1 in the first semi-final of the Red Dragon Darts sponsored event with Dawson defeating York^s Paul Cooper 4-2 in the other semi.
Trevor Day^s excellent run was ended by Dawson (15-180 for 16 and 19) 3-1 in the 1/4 Finals whilst Cooper beat Jamie Ellam (Humberside) 106 finish 3-1. Quantock (14) won 3-0 over Mark Hartley (York) and Holdstock^s 3-2 victory ended Chris Thompson hopes.

Ranking Stage 3 is on Saturday 1st March at Huntington WMC in York, registration closes at 12.30pm for a 1pm start.
York Darts Promotions take a trip to the East Coast for a weekend of darts at The Blue Bell Hotel, Burton Agnes on Sat/Sun 8th/9th March as Stages 3 and 4 of the Blue Bell Hotel Darts Championship take place. The event boasts a total prize fund of £5,510. These are the last two qualifying stages for this event with stage prize money paid out to the last 8 plus highest checkout and fastest leg prize. The semi-finalists qualify for the Grand Finals on 19th April where the overall winner recieves £1,500.
