Diamond Geezer Snakebite Sticks with Euro 11’s

Peter Wright has vowed to use the same set of darts in back to back Premier League weeks for the first time in months. Snakebite produced his best recent performance using his 20g Euro 11 Diamond Coated darts in a scintillating 7-5 win over Michael van Gerwen last week. The World’s most colourful player hit MVG with a rock solid display and faces World Champion Rob Cross in Newcastle tonight, Live on Sky Sports from 7pm. Wrighty, 47, believes his form is back thanks to hard work and finding a set that he believes really suits his throw right now and Snakebite said "It was great being down in Cardiff and had some quality time to speak with Lee about my throw and how its working now, so we agreed to trial the diamond darts and they worked so well at the Para Troopers charity event so I took them on against Micheal". “My throw has changed a bit with losing weight so I needed to feel my way back to the right follow through allowing me to release the dart at full power, and the diamond grip really helps me do this as they are rock solid in my hand". "I've put all my other darts away - I've only got the diamond ones out now as I've had a great couple of weekends and I'm working harder than ever and that will pay off. "I'll need to be in great form to play Rob as he’s back to his best and we all know how good that can be". With the Tour moving so fast and players schedules so chaotic, Wright's darts choice still remains one of the industry’s best stories leaving many a seasoned pro and commentator scratching their heads. Snakebite relishes the journey and he added "Having the ability to have new darts, try new things and work towards perfection is just so exciting for me and I love it". Peter plays Rob Cross in the third game on stage tonight at the Metro Radio Arena, in Newcastle.
