Henderson Into Finals Night
John Henderson secured his spot in the Series 5 Week 3 Finals Night at the MODUS Super Series, after claiming consecutive wins against Fallon Sherrock MBE and James Hurrell at the Live Lounge.
The Highlander has been the most impressive player on show this week, having lost only one of his opening 10 Round Robin matches in Group A. The Scotsman claimed a further 4 wins on Wednesday, only losing to Mareno Michels who was the only player to defeat John in Group A before the start of Day 3.
The former World Cup of Darts winner secured his return on Saturday night with a 4-1 victory over 2022 WDF Scottish Open champion James Hurrell, averaging 94.95 and only missing the three darts on the outer ring.
For the former WDF Number 1 and ADC Europe qualifier Mareno Michels, they will head into Group B where they will be joined by ADC Qualifier Scott Marsh, Ryan Furness and Shaun McDonald with the top three in the group securing a place at Finals Night.
For Fallon Sherrock MBE, Marko Kantele and Adam Lipscombe Group C awaits, with the action starting on Thursday in the afternoon. The top 2 players in the group will return on Saturday, with youngster Sam Cromwell, Scott Baker and Darren Johnson all starting their Series 5 Week 3 campaigns at the Live Lounge.
The Super Series returns from 1pm this afternoon Live on YouTube and Sportystuff TV with Sam Cromwell facing Adam Lipscombe in the opening match of Group C.
