JO Rayner will be bidding for a double on Glemsford and District League finals night on August 29, in the ladies^ doubles and singles.

The Sible Hedingham Social Club B player partnered Emma Suckling to the doubles final, where they will meet June Turner and Ann Bentley of the Pinkuah Arms.

In the singles Rayner will face Rachel Farmer (Snooker Club A).

Quarter-final: Farmer and Carole Palmer bt Laura Keon and Polly Watkins (Sugar Loaves). Semi-final: Suckling and Rayner bt Palmer and Farmer, Turner and Bentley bt Nicki Dawson and Kim Suckling.

In the men^s singles Mark Woodger will meet Nicky Wright in an all-Four Seasons final.

Board one final: Dan Fayers (Four Seasons) bt Garry Davis (Sible Hedingham Club A). Board two final: Woodger bt Steve Sunderland (Snooker Rebels). Board three final: Martin Totman (Sible Hedingham Club B) bt Lewis Pearce (Bay Horse). Board four final: Wright bt Ian Randles (Snooker Rebels). Semi-finals: Wright bt Fayers; Woodger bt Totman.

There were several 180s on the night, two each from Dan Tatum and Ray Coe and one from Ryan Smith, all beaten in earlier rounds, and one from Pearce, who also had the highest checkout, 124.

Finals night is at Sible Hedingham Social Club.
