Luke Humphries signs new Red Dragon Darts Contract

April 2019 | Red Dragon Darts HQ | UK Luke Humphries has penned a new 4-year contract with fast moving darts brand Red Dragon following his breakthrough season on the PDC’s global darts tour last year. The impressive and solid Humphries shot to darts fame with his recent Quarter-Final run at the 2019 PDC World Championships, and has rapidly become the bell of the darting ball. The 22 year old has committed to another 4 years with the darts brand following his recent success, but to those in the know, it wasn’t that much of a surprise. Simon Hall Head of Marketing at Red Dragon said, “Luke’s talents came to our attention several years ago, and it didn’t take much to see that he had all the ingredients to make a top class player. Emotionally stable, driven and extremely hard working, Luke also possesses one of the most superb technical throws we have ever seen, and so with all the extra experience he’s gained with superb management, Luke is now really hitting his potential and it’s an absolute pleasure for us to be working with Luke for a further 4 years”. With Nine Challenge Tour and Development Tour wins already under his belt, Luke has climbed hundreds of places on the PDC Tour rankings giving him some great television exposure, and none more recently than as a contender in the Premier League, where he played Gezzy Price in a superb televised battle.
