Martin Atkins and Zoe Jones are the Winmau England Matchplay Champions

Martin Atkins and Zoe Jones produced superb displays to become the first ever Winmau England Matchplay champions.

Martin beat Glen Durrant 6 -4 in a thrilling final and Zoe edged out Deta Hedman 5 – 4.

In the same weekend, the EDO England Classic produced some fantastic darts. Deta Hedman was victorious in the EDO England Classic Ladies Singles beating Lisa Ashton 4 - 3. 

In the Men^s Singles, Glen Durrant edged out Winmau’s Scott Waites 6 – 5.

Glen also won the Men^s Pairs title with Winmau’s Tony Eccles after triumphing 3 - 2 over Scott Mitchell and Richie George.

Lorraine Farlam and Anastasia Dobromyslova were the Ladies Pairs winners with a 3 – 0 win over Clare Bywaters and Apylee Jones, and Geoff Heath, Steve Rose and Jo Sibley were the Mixed Triples champions.

The Boys Youth title was picked up by Andrew Clark, with Natasha Eaves as the Girls winner.
