Article: Mile High begins the 2011/12 Campaign

Mile High begins the 2011/12 Campaign

After a truly amazing 12 months for Mark it is easy to get all consumed by the Ladbrokes World Championships and forget what tremendous strides he has taken in the last 12 months. This time last year Mark Hylton was ranked 91 in the world and had just started to make a minor impression.

A Pro Tour Final in Australia and a qualification and respectable performance in The Grand Slam of Darts 2010. He had made into the World Championships in the last 2 or 3 spots and was not exactly being tipped to set the world on fire! 1 year on and Mile High has really begun to fly. This year has seen him climb 58 places to 33 in the world rankings and he is sure to climb still higher. He has reached the UK Open & World Grand Prix Qtr Finals, as well as qualifying for both The World Matchplay (narrow defeat to The Power) and The Player Championship Finals. As he attempts his 2nd World Championships he is regarded a strong underdog who may cause a shock or two. Additional highlights include 2 competition 9 darters in a week and the release of Mark’s signature darts.

So after a superb spell of preparations and practise  Mark sets off for Ally Pally and Open their endeavours on Saturday December 17th where Mile High will take on Vincent van De Voort at 9pm that evening.

All who have supported and backed them over the past year or two will be delighted to see them take the stage and show darts biggest event what they can do.

So Good Luck To Mark `Mile High’ Hylton
