Nellie on Tour in Germany
Had a cracking run on day one in Germany playing in the German Open. Three wins of 3-0 which included 2 x 12 darts, 3 x 13 darts and two ton plus finishes saw me go head to head in the board final against World Ranked No.20 James Hurrell and disappointingly lost 4-0.
Felt a bit gutted as was playing well and believed i could have won that but all respect to James who took out 156 in leg one and never left me a chance really. Quality player who went on to reach the Semi-finals.
Day two saw another good run this time in the German Masters, winning 3-0, 3-1 and 3-0 en-route to the board final for the second day running this time playing World Ranked No.23 Darius Labanauskas from Lithuania.
The difference is a fine line and after missing a shot at doubles in two legs went down 4-0 for the second day in succession. Darius went on to reach the 1/4 Finals of the event before losing 5-1 to Jim Wiliams.
With my game becoming more consistent and confidence rising i am looking forward to this Saturdays York Darts Promotions Ranking Event held at Huntington WMC in York followed by the Denmark Open and Masters on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of may.
