Nellie on Tour - Secures Those First Eluisive Points

Neil Hart, experiencing his first season of the BDO Pro-Tour, finally secured his first World Ranking points after his visit to the Isle of Man Darts Festival.
Day one was the Isle of Man Classic where i lost out in the first round to Richard Veenstra a 1/4 Finalist in the recent Dutch Open. I won the first leg in 13 darts with a 180 then went down to 3 legs of 15, 14 and 15 Richard hitting 4 x 180^s. Was on his shirt tails all the way but just not good enough.
Saturday saw the start of the main event, the Isle of Man Open, with me wining my first match 3-0. I then went on to beat Wales Jim Williams 3-0 and Scotland^s Steve Plank 3-1 before going out in the Board Final, Last 64, 4-2 to Dean Reynolds. Finally earning my first Ranking Points.

My next trip saw me heading off to the Holland for the Hal Masters and Open. Really pleased with my game and added bonus beating Pip Blackwell, BDO World Trophy Semi-Finalist, 4-2 in the last 64 before going out 4-1 to Craig Jackson in the last 32 but gaining more ranking points.
Bit of an indifferent day on Day Two at the Hal Open. Took out a nice 140 finish in first leg in my first game. Won it 3-1. Last leg went 140, 140, 85 and 80 to leave 56 and nerves kicked in. No idea why but finally hit the double.
Next match lost 4-3 missing doubles again. Struggled reaching treble 20. Dropped down to 19^s hit back to back 171 scores. Couldnt have had two such different days over the weekend.
Threw some quality darts over the weekend, hit some great finishes but the old consistancy got in the way.

My next weekend on tour takes place from 17th to 19th April 2015, with two singles events in Germany

Must admit travelling with the likes of England players Martin Atkins, Scotty Waites and Glen Durrant have helped massively as a person travelling to foriegn events for the first time and the advice they and Scotty Mitchell as well as many other players have given is all logged and will be taken on board.

As a first timer on the tour their advice and help has been priceless. The travelling does take it^s toll, with Martin Atkins more often than not driving us to the events. Without my sponsors Simon Hall of Red Dragon Darts, Mark Wilson of Streamline Taxis, Michaela Knight of Synergy Cleaning, Jlohn Maughan of York Print, Shaun Revell of SR Washers, Chris Dalton of Ashes Associates, Erin Haffey of Wentsford Pub Group and The Flag & Whistle and Darren Johnson of DSJ Leadwork for making this possible.
Without those guys it wouldnt have be possible and thanks for all the support from everyone else. Very much appreciated.
I am always looking for new sponsors for myself and York Darts Promotions Events so if anyone out there can help YDP or myself please get in touch on 07921128063 or contact me by email at neilhartydp.co.uk.
