New Red Dragon Deal, New Darts for Jonny Clayton

Red Dragon Darts has re-signed Pembrokeshire’s Jonny Clayton on a new three-year sponsorship deal and plans to launch a new set of signature darts to mark the occasion in July. Having qualified for the PDC Pro Tour in 2015, Clayton announced his arrival in big time darts when he won the Worthington’s Champion of Champions title the following year. In 2017 he qualified for the PDC World Championships, beating countryman Gerwyn Price to progress to the last 32. As part of the Red Dragon Darts team, Clayton will represent the company at events and tournaments around the world. In addition, he will contribute to the design, testing and development of a range of equipment, including a new range of darts that will be launched next month. “Jonny is a great example of the modern dart player,” says Simon Hall, head of marketing at Red Dragon Darts. “He has worked hard and put in the hours to get to where he is now. He has so much talent and I am sure he is poised to make a real impact on big time darts. I’m delighted he chose to sign with us again and we’re looking forward to being a part of his future success story.” Clayton added: “I played on the BDO tour for seven years and wouldn’t swap that experience for the world. It provided a great platform and I learned so much. Things have got better and better since I joined the PDC in 2015. Winning the 2016 Champion of Champions was a big milestone for me, as was playing in the world championships. Red Dragon Darts is more than a sponsor. They are a true partner and with their support I am looking forward to challenges ahead.” Johnny’s Darts can be found at: https://www.reddragondarts.com/info/our-players/jonny-clayton/ Twitter: @jonnyclay9 Jonny is managed exclusively by MODUS @modusdarts180 or www.modusdarts.tv Jonny Clayton, Red Dragon Darts, New Deal, Modus
