THE PartyPoker.com Grand Slam of Darts will return to the Wolverhampton Civic Hall from 15-23 November 2008, with tickets going on sale to DartsTV subscribers on Monday July 14.

The £350,000 tournament, screened live on ITV Sport, features nine days of action involving 32 stars of darts, with the winner taking home £100,000.

Phil Taylor claimed the inaugural Grand Slam of Darts title at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall last November, and will be defending his title from Saturday November 15.

"The 2007 Grand Slam of Darts was a huge success last year and we’re excited about returning to the Wolverhampton Civic Hall," said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.

"Wolverhampton has proven itself to be an ideal venue for the event for players, fans and our broadcast partners at ITV, and I’m sure darts supporters will again come out in force in November."

The tournament will again kick off with four days of round-robin action in the group phase, before the top two players from each of the eight groups progress to the knockout stage.

A total of 25 players have already won a place in the tournament, including defending champion Taylor, PDC World Champion John Part, BDO World Champion Mark Webster, Raymond van Barneveld, James Wade and Gary Anderson.

Tickets will be on sale from Monday July 14, with a week of exclusive pre-sales for Annual Subscribers to DartsTV on the PDC^s official website,

www.planetdarts.tv.

Tickets are on sale from 10am-6pm from Monday-Saturday from the Wolves Civic Box Office on 0870 320 7000 or in person. Tickets are limited to six per person for November 15, 16, 21, 22 & 23.

Tickets will then go on general sale from Monday July 21, with ticket prices starting at just £10.
