Playing for Wales

A DARTS player from Rhos on Sea has made it into the Wales Youth team taking part in the World Darts Federation Europe Cup Youth in Swansea.

Jake Yates, 17, who plays for the Cross Keys, Penrhynside in the Gwynedd County Darts League will win his first cap at the event.

His first singles match will be against England^s Shaun Griffiths and he will partner fellow league player Shane Parry in the doubles competition and in the round robin Boys team event, Wales are in a Group with Austria, Russia and Sweden.

The competition will take place at the Swansea University Campus between July 17 and 19.
