PremierLeague Darts Betting

Premier League Darts 2009 campaign resumes again tomorrow with 8 of the top players all in action. It^s an unfamiliar sight not seeing Phil "The Power" Taylor topping the Premier League darts table, but I^m confident that he^ll be able to get things back on track in tomorrow^s match-up against John Part.

As it currently stands, Taylor remains the outright favourite to secure a victory at the end of the season. Listed at a mere 1/3, Taylor is the punters choice. Van Barneveld sits at 6/1 with James Wade just behind him at 7/1. John Part and Terry Jenkins are both listed at 33/1 and 66/1 respectively while Wayne Mardle and Jelle Klaasen round out the betting at 150/1 and 250/1.

In terms of tomorrow^s match-betting, we^ve got Mervyn King facing off against Terry Jenkins with King listed as the 4/6 favourite. Jenkins pays out at 9/4 with the draw listed at 4/1. I think King is the right pick for this one and 4/6 is fairly solid value although you want to take a look at this one in-running before wagering anything substantial. King drew Taylor in the last leg and looks to be in quality form.

Wayne Mardle vs James Wade is another interesting fixture where I think a lot of value can be had. Mardle is certainly not the most accomplished competitor in Premier League Darts, but I believe he is more than capable of pulling off an upset here, especially if he can get out to an early lead. 6/1 for a Mardle victory and 1/4 for James Wade.

Raymond van Barneveld and Jelle Klaasen is a real continental fixture with a scoreline that will likely be closer than many punters figure. At the end of the day though, I see Barney edging this one by an 8-5 margin which pays 7/2. Barney is at 1/4 for the outright and Klaasen at 6/1.

Phil Taylor is set to roll over John Part and will be looking to dispel the demons from his stagnating draw with Mervyn King. Taylor is listed at 1/7 with Part a full 10/1. You can only go one way on this one and I^m backing Taylor to win this easily by an 8-3 margin which pays 10/3.
