Eight reigning "World Champions"  on Finder Darts Masters stage

Among the participants in the Finder Darts Masters, held in Hotel Zuiderduin Egmond aan Zee from Friday, December 4th eight new world champions! The number one seed, Wesley Harms a few days ago, together with Richard Veenstra, became WDF World Cup pairs champions. Wesley wrote history  being the first player n the history of the WDF World Cup who hit a nine-darter at this event.

The brand new WDF World Cup Singles champion, Jim Williams from Wales, recently added  to the players field with a wildcard might surprise his opponents and spectators by winning the  Finder Darts Masters title on his debut.

There are two seeded players with a world title. The number three seeded  Englishman Scott Mitchell, reigning Lakeside World Professional Darts Champion, and  the number fifth seed Glen Durrant, also from England, who in October won the Winmau World Masters title.

Aileen de Graaf, one of the six participants in the Finder Darts Masters women^s tournament, also became a  Winmau World Masters in the ladies event

The Finder Darts Masters Youth tournament in which six players participate employs two newly crowned World Cup champions. The 16-year-old Maikel Verbeek  in Kemer, Turkey even won four titles. Maikel became WDF World Cup Singles champion together with Justin van Tergouw, also a player in the Finder Darts Masters, they were crowned WDF World Cup pairs champions.

 Along with Kyana Frauenfelder Maikel won the WDF World Cup mixed pairs tournament and thanks to all these good results the Dutch youth team, where he and Justin Tergouw were part, won the overall title of the WDF World Cup for boys.

Justin Tergouw  earlier this year showed the world he is a very talented player as in Hull the 15-year-dart player from Utrecht namely won the Winmau World Masters boys titel.

A very strong players field this year in the first edition of the Finder Darts Masters.
