Wolves they set out on New Years day to compete in the South Yorkshire Interleague Championship against league from all over the region and it was the 1st time a team from Sheffield had been in it.The franchise league after a 7-0 against the gawber league went down 4-3 to the Doncaster Money League 4-3 after leading 3-1 and that meant they had to win there last two games to come through the group.They then beat the Bob Nellis league with wins coming from Ben Beardmore,11yo Charlie Stocks and his dad Micky,Ryan Goffin was on song

and 15yo Tom gurran before Jason burkhill and shaun Greenfield lost out but then took on the Balby & Hexthorpe league led by Marie Groves and a good win would make them through to the final.it was young Tom Gurran and Charlie Stocks that gave the franchise league a 2-0 lead and that was followed by Ryan Goffin and Micky Stocks and when Ben Beardmore and Shaun Greenfield won it was all secure before Patrick Finney played the last and through to the final was a mammoth achievement and now played the Doncaster and district Money League again the team they had lost too which sprouted some of the best players in Yorkshire including England star Denis Bimbo Hickling but Ben Beardmore would beat Taylor Greaves and Ryan goffin would beat John dean and then Micky

Stocks won his game so could this really happen a league only formed 4 months ago been crowned South Yorkshire champions at 3-0 but up stepped 11yo Charlie stocks and claimed his player of the tournament with decisive fashion taking the next game and win the final 4-0.We could not believe it to win such a brilliant event it was amazing and Held in Doncaster at the urban Lounge they could not have done a better job and this is the highest honour for local darts
