Sad News for the Darting Community
We at Atlanta Darts recieved sad news from the darting community. Keeth Wilkinson and Donna Overly have both lost a loved one. We know that everyone who knows these two would like to know and be able to give their sympathies to their friends in this time of need. All of us at Atlanta Darts would like to our friends to know that these two are in our prayers. The obituaries are below if anyone is interested in sending flowers or condolences.
Robert S. Wilkinson Jr. WILKINSON, JR., Robert S. Age 74 of Nashville. Passed from this life on Sunday, October 12, 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Wilkinson is survived by his loving wife, Serena; daughter, Kathy Ernst; sons, Keeth and Kenneth (Ronda) Wilkinson; grandchildren, Taylor, Johnathan, Rebecca, Leah and his sister, Lucie Bell (Jack) Boone. He retired after 41 years
of dedicated service with the TN Air National Guard. His friends at the Elm Hill Marina and former TN Air National Guard members will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Services will be Wednesday at 12 Noon, in the Serenity Chapel of the Mt. Olivet Funeral Home. His family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m., in the Acklen State Room at the Mt. Olivet Funeral Home. Graveside will take place on Wednesday at 2 p.m., in the Middle TN Veterans Cemetery on McCory Lane. MOUNT OLIVET FUNERAL HOME, (615) 255-4193.
Roberta Norman
November 07, 1945 - October 15, 2008
Roberta "Bertie" Norman, 62, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at the family residence. She was very devoted to her family. She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio. She was employed with Eaton Corporation for 25 years.
Mrs. Norman was the daughter of the late Allen Collett and Sophie Sizemore Collett and was also preceded in death by her four brothers: James Davis Collett, Eugene Collett, Monroe Collett and Allen Collett.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Donald C. Norman of Cleveland; two daughters: Donna Sue Norman Overly and Deanna Michelle Norman and fiancée, James Matthew Hitch all of Cleveland; one sister, Juanita Collett of London, KY; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2008 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Dewey Pope officiating. Interment will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, October 20, 2008 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2008 at the funeral home.
