The 2014 YDP Darts/Fishing Event
After last years great day and night and by request the Darts/Fishing Event is back. A unique event which i believe we are the only one^s who organise an event like this.

The Fishing part of the event is being held at Raker Lakes Greengales Lane, Wheldrake, York, North Yorkshire YO19 6BW. Tel 01904 448793.
There is an Individual Fishing Event and also a Blind Pairs.
The fishing match will be fished using the Acorn and Horseshoe lakes. The draw for partners and pegs will take place at 8am. Once the draw is made one member of each pair fishes the Acorn the other fishes the Horseshoe. It is the pairs choice which person fishes which pond.
The match will be fished from 9am to 2pm. Keepnets are supplied at Raker Lakes. You can only fish with one rod at a time but may have a second rod set up. If your caught with both rods fishing the lake you will be disqualified. You must have your own landing net which must be dipped before use and a hooking mat. You can only use barbless hooks. Again anyone using barbed hooks will be told to stop fishing and disqualified.
Another point of note it is every entrants responsibility to ensure they hold a valid rod licence. This is compulsory. You cannot enter the event without one.
The darts is being held at The Flag and Whistle Pub Huntington Road, York YO32 9PX and will start at 7pm. It is a singles and a pairs (the person you partner is the person you are drawn with from the fishing event)
People who enter this event will need to attend and participate in both the Fishing and darts. The format will be an individual fishing and a blind pairs accumilator for the fishing. Then an Individual darts comp followed by a pairs (your partner will be the person who becomes your blind pairs accumilator fishing partner). A points system will be in place to decide the Darts/Fishing Champions.
Prizes will be awarded for each of the catagories with the overall Darts/Fishing Winners being decided by a Ranking Points System.
When entering this event please be aware YOU MUST participate in both the fishing and darts. It is a joint/combined event and if you fail to attend either you will be letting someone else down so please ensure you are avaliable for both.
THE ENTRY FEE FOR THIS EVENT IS £25. This will cover your fishing fee, entry fee into the fishing competition singles and blind pairs, your entry fee into the darts singles and pairs and a supper at the Flag and Whistle Pub on the night.
THIS IS STRICTLY THE FIRST 32 PEOPLE TO PAY THE £25 ENTRY FEE WILL BE ENTERED INTO THE EVENT.

We will keep a reserve list in case anyone pays and then decides they cant make the event. Once you^ve paid, if we cannot find a replacement you forfiet your entry fee.
After the darts there will be a Karaoke/Disco to keep us entertained until the early hours.
