After winning two more darts majors in the LVDC and the Stan James World Masters, whilst maintaining 100 plus tournament averages, the winner has to be the incomparable Phil Taylor. ^The Power^, is taking the game to unimaginable heights of consistency and excellence and on current form looks nigh on unbeatable - well done Phil.

Special mention must also go to Ronnie Baxter for an excellent Player^s Championship win in Las Vegas, where he became one of the few men to beat Phil Taylor this year - triumphing 6-2 in the final. ^The Rocket^ continued his excellent form with some terrific darts, en route to a semi-final appearance at Blackpool. Ronnie looks back to his best form and seems all set for a return to the Premier League in 2010 - having last appeared in the tournament in 2006.

One other player who has also had an excellent month is New Zealander Phillip Hazel. After qualifying for the LVDC, Phillip also claimed the New Zealand national title which ensures he will be part of the Ladbrokes.com World Championship at the Alexandra Palace in December.
