The Forest of Arden Winter League has been involved in their Presidents Cup final at Stechford Social. Battling out the final were Red Arrows and Hobs Meadow Mixes, with the latter clinching the title with a fabulous 5-4 victory, also on the agenda has been the semi-finals of the Consolation Cup. At the Highwood Hobs Meadow recorded a great 7-2 win over their rivals Farringdon Social, while in the other last four encounter at the Cock and Hens Harvester had a last gasp 5-4 success over Mackadown Social.

Congratulations to the George who have successfully defended their Larner Shield title in the Harborne and Disrict Winter League. Playing against Bartley Green Social Club representatives, P.Hughes, L.Jordan and K.Heskins, the George trio of E.Simpson, V.Gould and D.Johnson secured their 1-0 victory.
The doubles title went to Punchbowl’s P.Brotherton and G.Smith.

There were 7-2 wins in division one of the Harborne 401 Summer League for Ladywood Social, who defeated Hillyfields and Highlander, who with a 180 from B.Hughes beat the Kings Highway. B.Davenport (Raven) also notched a maximum in a close 5-4 verdict over Bartley Green Social Club.
Avenue Social chalked up an 8-1 win over Stonehouse Ladies in division two, while Hobsons Choice accounted for Highlander Ladies with a 7-2 result.

St Annes missed the opportunity to seal the premier division title in the Sheldon and District Winter League when they suffered a shock 6-3 defeat at the Three Horse Shoes. However, second placed Fordbridge Social were unable to take advantage of the leaders demise as they finished on the wrong side of an 8-1 scoreline at the Highwood. Andy Hutchings and Dave Duncan both registered maximums for Highwood and Phil Barlow (Fordbridge) hit a 177 in an eight darts game.
With still three games remaining, Sheldon Heath Social Dukes, with a 6-3 win at the Dovecote have secured the division one title, similarly in the second division British Telecom Club have won the division with a 6-3 success at Sheldon and Marlboro Club.

The Sportsmans Rest Double Top League has got underway and after the first week’s fixtures Dave Platt and Dawn Barnes share the number one spot. Dave had 3-0 wins against Harvey Trebble and Dave Hood, while Dawn had a cracking start by beating Clive Vickers and Dave Hood, also 3-0.
Richie Shenton opened his account with a 2-1 success against John Ainsworth, a top scoring affair in which Shenton hit 2x180,2x140,123 and 2x100, Ainsworth hitting 2x140,126,2x121 and 5x100. Ricky Lawrence hit a 180 in each of his games with Pat Koyce and Clive Vickers, Dave Platt also hit the top score against Dave Hood.
