The Three Horse Shoes have a three points lead at the top of division one in the Longwood Winter League. However, White Lion, who are currently second and third placed Red Lion ‘A’, both have a game in hand on the leaders and could draw level on points with Shoes should they win their outstanding game.
In division two Railway top the table on 21 points. They have a massive eight points advantage over their nearest rivals Plough and Harrow and already look a good bet to take the title.

Peter Allen takes a nine points lead over second placed Mark Hollyoake into 2002 in the Minworth Social Individual League. Hollyoake has played two games fewer than Allen, but the title does look increasingly as though it will be between these two players, who are both newcomers to the league this season.
