Division One:West Midlands v Oxfordshire Following their shock 20-16 defeat away to Hertfordshire, West Midlands will be hoping to return to winning ways again this coming weekend when they entertain Oxfordshire in the latest of their BDO Inter County Championship fixtures in division one. With four wins in their opening four fixtures the Hertfordshire result was quite a surprise but now it has to be put behind them and they have to concentrate on this their next game and promotion. The current situation in the division sees West Midlands on 113 points just one short of leaders Cheshire and nine ahead of third placed London. Oxfordshire are seventh in the table with 96 points so home advantage plus taking into account the two counties records so far West Midlands should by all accounts be favourites to win. Division Three:Cumbria v Derbyshire A 21-15 win at home in their last game against Middlesex saw Derbyshire move up one place to fifth in the division three promotional table of the BDO Inter County Darts Championships. With a total of 97 points so far Derbyshire are some 25 short of second in the table Merseyside and promotion, this coming weekend they will be playing at the Grasslot Welfare Sports and Social Club, Main Road, Maryport, CA15 8DD where they will take on the local county Cumbria. Cumbria with 83 points are currently next to bottom of the division three table, they are four places and 14 points below their visitors and the outcome of the game and on form should definitely go in Derbyshire’s favour. Division Four:Leicestershire v Shropshire Shropshire have suffered defeats in their last two fixtures in division four of the BDO Inter County Championships and this coming weekend they have no easy task when they play away at Enderby & District Social Club, 22/24 Coleridge Drive, Enderby, LE19 4QF where they will take on the local county Leicestershire. As the two teams go into the match Leicestershire are riding high in pole position on 120 with a lead of seven over second placed Bedfordshire while Shropshire are lying in sixth place on 92 points but just one point short of the team directly above them Tyne and Wear and only eight off fourth in the table Breconshire.
