Mervyn King Announces Fourth Contract with Winmau

Englishman Mervyn “The King” King has signed a new 3 year sponsorship deal with the world’s leading darts brand, Winmau, the company has announced. The deal is the fourth successive Winmau contract for Mervyn, who first joined the darts giant in 2010, alongside a host of global darts professionals and World Champions. Mervyn said, “I am thrilled to continue my relationship with Winmau which will stretch to 12 years now. My desire to compete at the top of the game has not diminished in the slightest and I'm still as focussed and hard working as I ever have been. Winmau’s passion for darts and support of their players is second-to-none in the industry, and they have stood by me through good and bad and for that I'm very grateful. The Winmau brand has such a long-established history of innovation and their attention to detail never ceases to amaze me.” Ian Flack, Winmau’s Sales and Marketing Director, said “Mervyn is still one of the most consistent and toughest competitors on the darts circuit today. He plays an integral part of our team in all areas of product design and testing as his no nonsense approach is both demanding yet very refreshing. We’re absolutely thrilled he’s chosen to renew his contract with us so we can join him on his quest for more major titles." Discover Mervyn’s darts range here.
