Montgomery and Ashton Claim Czech Open Titles

Ross Montgomey claimed his first BDO ranking title of the year as he took the Czech Open Mens Singles title on Sunday, whilst Lisa Ashton added to her haul of the BDO World Darts Trophy and BDO World Masters with the Ladies singles title in Prague. “The Boss” faced 17-year old Irish star Keane Barry in the final and edged out the youngster 6-5 in a high quality final. Along the way Ross also defeated double Irish Open champion Mike Warburton whilst Keane defeated Paul Hogan 5-2. Lisa Ashton defeated the defending 2018 champion Lorraine Winstanley 5-1 in the final to lift the Ladies title after wins over Anna Hlavova, Maggie Sutton and Paula Jacklin en route to the final stage.
