Parletti and Sherrock crowned Red Dragon Welsh Masters Champions

England’s Dave Parletti and Fallon Sherrock took the Welsh Masters singles titles at the Gateway Resort, Llanelli on Sunday night. Parletti defeated Gary Robson 6-3 in the final with a 87.12 average after also knocking out Scott Mitchell and Geraint Davies on the way. Robson picked off strong opponents on his journey to the final, including Martin Phillips, Willem Mandigers and a 4-0 whitewash over Mark McGeeney. In the Ladies tournament, Fallon Sherrock continued her fantastic recent form with yet another title as she defeated Casey Gallagher 5-1. Sherrock also dispatched of current Winmau World Master Lorraine Winstanley and BDO World Number 3 Aileen de Graaf. Full Men’s results click here. Full Ladies results click here. Fallon Sherrock, Dave Parletti, Red Dragon Darts, Welsh Masters The BDO Gateway International Open also took place on Saturday 7th July and saw Jim Williams take the Men’s title. The Welshman defeated Red Dragon’s Scott Baker 6-3 in the final after a 5-3 win over Scott Mitchell in the Semis. It was an impressive victory for the Welshman as Scott Baker looked a threat throughout the tournament, including a 100.02 average in a 5-0 thrashing of Mark McGeeney. Anastasia Dobromyslova was crowned the Ladies Champion, defeating Lorraine Winstanley 5-1 in the final.
