Kyle Anderson took the title in arguably the strongest field of players outside a PDC ranking event as world champions,Pro^s and international and county stars took to the floor.Kyle^s path to the final was won through by taking out Micky Stocks in the match hitting 3x180s in a 4-0 win and then followed that with victory over another county player James Weldon again recording another 4-0,then an all pdc affair as Kyle won through a very tough game over Terry Temple 4-2 after terry had seen off welsh star Ceri Thomas.Kyle then hit 3 more 180^s in his victory against Dennis Timmis .Bob Pinder would be next after Bob had got through against Andy Calvert,Sam Fordham Tony Molyneaux and Daz Layden to make the last four only to find Kyle producing the darts that has seem him climb the ranks in the professional game.Darren Johnson proving he is one of the best around got through the other side of the draw by winnong 4-1 over Mark Fordham and then had a real scrap coming from 3-1 down against the high flying BDO star Dave "Devilfish" Hemsworth to scrape through 4-3 and then Paul Bowery fell at the next to Dynamite before he then went on to beat Jaron Esteve 4-2 and set up a semi with rising talent Charlie Beaumont who had produced the game of the first round beating Andy Umney 4-1 with Andy hitting a 10 dart leg before Charlie hit 2x12,He would then see off John Askquith and a tight game with Martyn Turner before been edged out in the semi final to Darren Johnson and that set up a terrific final as both men hit form and recorded over 98av with kyle leading 1-0 and 2-1 before Darren levelled the game at 3-3 before The Original won the day 4-3.
Micky Stocks from Nottinghamshire won the White rose plate beating Yorkshire county star Tony Darlow 2-0 in the final.Tony would forge his path with wins over Steve Hatterley,Gaz Driscoll,James Robins,Andy Mackreaken before going down to Stocks and Micky^s path was wins over Daz Weaver,Anthony Askquith,Mark Fordham and Andy McGovern to show how much talent was played over the weekend in Ossett
