With the Winmau Boards up and Ready the next round of the youth championship tool place with players coming from all over the UK to take part. Essex supremo Adam Howard recovered from losing his 1st two games to just scrap out of the group stage and then battled his way to the last game and beat Rotherham^s Gareth Baxter 4-1 to take his place in the finals. He was Joined by Rotherham^s Tom Gurran who threw outstanding all day winning all of his 7 matches to take his place in the finals with the Inferno looking to take the sponsorship for 2016.Nottinghamshire rising star Max Roberts was faultless on the day too taking all his games with ease and only dropping 3 legs in the process and becomes one to watch for the finals and so will Jack Kerr a fellow Nottinghamshire player who battled well throughout the day and secured his place in the finals too.
Louth Supremo Micky Stocks took on Scunthorpe^s Mark Wilson in a cracking final of high quality in the Red Dragon Players Championship at the Players Sports bar Rotherham with both men hitting a 90+ average. Mark had made his way to the final Beating Bob Pinder from Sheffield, Steve Marfleet from Rotherham and Paul Wade from Leicester before accounting for close friend PDC player Darren Weaver. Micky Stocks had beaten Steve Marfleet, Brina Lewis and two Yorkshire stars .
The latest round of the cosmo World Series was won by Paul Wade from Leicester with clinical finishing taking out 5 100+ finishers of 122,141,141,155,161 and qualified for the cosmo world series final in October.
