Winmau and Red Dragon forge landmark partnership with Junior Darts Corporation

A revolutionary alliance set to transform junior darts through unseen levels of investment, development pathways, and academy expansion.

Global darts leading equipment manufacturers Winmau and Red Dragon have today announced an exclusive partnership with the Junior Darts Corporation (JDC) in a groundbreaking deal spanning over a decade. This historic collaboration promises to revolutionise junior participation in darts through structured growth and substantial investment that will reshape the sport's future landscape.

The partnership represents the most significant focus to junior darts development ever seen in the sport's history, combining Winmau and Red Dragon's manufacturing excellence with the JDC's proven player development infrastructure.

Darren Barson, Chief Executive at the JDC, commented: "This partnership transcends traditional sponsorship models. We're creating an entirely new ecosystem for junior darts that will provide clear pathways from grassroots participation to professional competition. The scale of this investment demonstrates our unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation of darts champions."

The comprehensive program will deliver unsurpassed value across multiple levels: - Direct Member Benefits: JDC members will receive exclusive access to premium Winmau and Red Dragon equipment, personalised development resources, and priority access to special events.

- Exclusive Academy Enhancement: Local JDC academies will undergo transformative upgrades through equipment provision, teaching resources, and venue improvements.

- Player Development Pathways: A structured progression system will identify and nurture talent through specialised coaching, competitive opportunities, and performance analysis.

- Expanded Membership Program: Enhanced membership packages will deliver exceptional value with tiered benefits reflecting different stages of player development.

Steve Brown, JDC Chairman, added: "This partnership with Winmau and Red Dragon will completely transform what we can offer young players and academies. The level of commitment shown by us all as the leaders in junior darts means we can now build sustainable structures that will benefit generations of players. This is nothing short of a revolution for junior darts."

The collaboration aims to significantly expand JDC's current academy network, bringing structured darts development to previously underserved global regions while elevating standards across existing locations.

Vincent Bluck, Group Managing Director, stated: "While many in darts talk about supporting Junior darts, we're delivering a decade-plus commitment that will fundamentally change the sport. This partnership represents an unprecedented investment in the grassroots game and establishes a new standard that others simply cannot match."

Full details of the program's implementation will be unveiled by Winmau in the coming weeks.

Darts organisers, sports clubs and potential academy members are encouraged to register their interest now to receive priority information and early access to program benefits.
