Scotland’s Rocking John “Hendo” Henderson has made a big name for himself in the world of darts as one of the most recognisable players on the circuit.

His walk on to Status Quo’s ‘Rocking All Over the World’ always get the crowd up and Big John is known for being one of the absolute fan favourites.

Hendo’s brilliant relationship with the fans was so perfectly summed up when he played Michael van Gerwen as a Contender in the Premier League, in front of a home crowd in Aberdeen. Not only was his walk on with bagpipes one of the greatest entrances in live sport, but he also took the World Number 1 all the way to a thrilling 6-all draw!

A passionate member of Red Dragon, Hendo loved designing his first ever bespoke darts, where he tweaked and fiddled until they were perfect.

John said “I’ve used a parallel style barrel for my whole career, so I’ve stayed with this profile but I wanted some major grip and flight improvements that the boys at Red Dragon have done for me”.
